We publish original, high-quality research. Manuscripts submitted to JME must fall within the journal’s scope and typically contain between 5,000 and 7,000 words (excluding references).
The editorial process is outlined below:
-
After submission, the manuscript is checked for basic elements (scope, length, and overall quality). This process takes up to 10 days.
-
If the manuscript passes the initial screening, it is subjected to plagiarism checking (up to 5 days).
-
If the plagiarism level is acceptable, the Editor will invite at least two independent reviewers.
-
After reviewers accept the invitation, the manuscript is sent for peer review.
-
Based on the reviewers’ reports, a decision letter will be sent to the authors.
-
In the case of revisions, authors revise the manuscript and it may be sent again to reviewers.
-
Once accepted, authors must submit final files and documentation.
-
Manuscripts must be submitted through the online system.
-
The average time to acceptance is approximately 74 days, while the complete publication process (including revisions and final production) typically takes between 3 and 6 months.
-
The journal does not charge any fees (no APCs).
